yoga foundations [YFI] intermediate level
This class provides a physically accessible experience of movement while drawing on the fundamental principles that have shaped our understanding of yoga practice. Each week we will focus on a specific theme so that we can, over time, build a sustainable and comprehensive practice from the inside out. Expect references to ancient texts, pranayama, conscious movements, what we learn on the mat in relation to our daily lives, small meditations and some chanting. This course is open to open-minded beginners, seasoned practitioners, and everyone in between.
private class or duo
A private practice is a unique moment and a wonderful way to better understand the poses and improve your technique in order to assimilate their specificities. A one on one can also help beginners wishing to go to a group class to refresh their practice.
Take this opportunity to learn or reacquaint yourself with the basic poses. Do you wish to work on your practice in order to improve it? During a one on one you can focus on the specific aspects that interest you: alignment of the asanas, meditation or breathing exercises. The private practices take place in our studio outside the regular schedule and can be given in French, English, Russian and Spanish.
After a discussion we will compose sessions together that are personalized and tailored to your needs and your personal schedule.

MORNING YOGA [MY] all levels
Start your day in the best possible way by coming to the morning yoga class which will allow you to feel the benefits of the practice “all day long”. Even better than a coffee before starting work, experiencing morning yoga upon waking helps to sharpen the mind and rebalance the energies of the body, creating space where the body needs it most and releasing the tensions accumulated during the night, and to start fresh and ready for the day!
ying yoga [yy]
Yin yoga is a so-called restorative practice in which we invite the body to yield to gravity with gentleness and patience, we explore deep connective tissues, we release bad stress, those that generate tension and pain, we surrender.
RESTORATIVE YOGA [RY]
Active rest may be an oxymoron, but it perfectly describes what students sometimes need most. In the midst of life-induced stress, sometimes it is necessary to deliberately set aside time to reset, and restorative yoga is the perfect solution. With the use of props such as yoga blocks, pillows, or blankets to remove any strain on the muscles, restorative yoga can reduce stress and improve mental health. Postures are held a little longer with the intention not to stretch the body, but to evoke a recalibration of the nervous system, helping to reduce stress, anxiety, tension and pain and supporting immunity body, digestion, sleep, and healing.
yoga foundations [YFb] beginner level
Our Yoga Foundations for Beginners program was created for anyone interested in starting a balanced and highly accessible yoga practice from scratch. This course is for anyone looking for a comprehensive and truly accessible introduction to yoga.
We created this Foundations for Beginners course because we experienced many situations where yoga classes were too fast and physically intense.
We believe that yoga is not just for the young, athletic and flexible. We believe it is crucial to present yoga in a way that is true to ancient traditions: as a practice of awareness rather than as a pure physical exercise..
